About SJE Polymers Ltd
The Managing Director, Allan Hall, began
his career working in a rubber compound
laboratory within a large rubber moulding company. The interest in this field of work and subsequent studies founded the basis of his wide knowledge of rubber technology. He went on to work as Production and Works Manager for two rubber and plastic companies. In 1981 he set up his own business, Stockwell Mouldings.
Dave Whitfield was invited to join a few years later and was able to add his own experience in other related areas such as factory control and product development.
Having spent their early years involved with the rubber moulding industry, both were able to bring with them high levels of expertise in all aspects of their work. The company quickly established a reputation for providing reliable, high quality, precision rubber products.
Two other companies were acquired, Jordan Rubber and Plastics and Enterprise Rubber Mouldings. These two additions provided the extra capacity to enable full development of the manufacturing methods needed to ensure customer requirements were fully met.
In 2007, all three companies were merged to become SJE Polymers Ltd.
Allan and Dave have never lost sight of their aim, to provide a comprehensive, specialist and above all, high quality service. Developed throughout 28 years of trading, they pride themselves on delivering a personal, honest and reliable service. Coupled with their extensive knowledge and experience of materials and elastomers used in rubber compound development, this has provided a good basis for understanding the principles necessary to ensure good product performance. The company continues to be a leading player in the provision of precision rubber mouldings and associated products.
Many customers have been with them throughout their trading history and return with new product enquiries because they know they will always receive the best service regardless of product requirement.
The rubber moulding section offers compression, transfer and injection moulding facilities and can accommodate production runs of all sizes.
